The invention relates to a product of coated fertilizer particles, a method for producing a product of coated fertilizer particles, and to the use of the product. A gel produced from an oily liquid and a gelling agent is used as the coating for the product of the invention, said gel being sprayable or pourable on the fertilizer particles at elevated temperatures, and further, said gel subsequently solidifying. The product thus obtained, having superior physical properties, prevents dehydration of hands due to handling of the fertilizer. |
