titleOfInvention |
Method of treating plants using an aqueous silicon dispersion containing a plant protection additive |
abstract |
The invention relates to a plant treatment and/or protection method. More specifically, the invention relates to a surface treatment method which is used to look after a plant (tree) in a simple, cost-effective manner. The inventive method essentially consists in applying at least one dressing to the plant, said dressing being obtained from a preferably-polymer composition that can be hardened into a preventive and/or curative synthetic coating by means of drying, chemical crosslinking or drying and chemical crosslinking, particularly at ambient temperature. For example, the composition comprises an aqueous silicon dispersion that can be hardened by means of drying and by condensation crosslinking. The dressing is obtained prior to the application on the plant or directly during said application, for example by means of spatula coating. The dressing is self-adhesive and elastic. The invention also relates to the composition (e.g. aqueous silicon) having one ore more added plant protection active principles. |
