titleOfInvention | Derivatives of n-acetyl cysteine and the use thereof |
abstract | Derivatives of N-acetyl cysteine and the use thereof are disclosed. The derivatives of N-acetyl cysteine according to the present invention have formula I, wherein POLY are polyalkylene glycols with a molecular weight from 1000Da to 500000Da, copolymers, terpolymers and mixed copolymers thereof, including polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol and the copolymer of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol. The present compounds are mainly used to modify amino in proteins and polypeptides. They have higher selectivity, specificity and modifying reactivity. N-acetyl cysteine produced has no side effects. It’s easy to carry out the modifying process and the modified products are stable. As a result, the compounds according to the present invention can be widely used to modify drugs such as proteins and polypeptides. |
