abstract |
An electrode for fuel cells which has a heightened catalyst utilization efficiency; and a fuel cell employing the electrode for fuel cells. The electrode for fuel cells is characterized by comprising: conductive metal particles having on the surface a compound having in the molecule at least one functional group constituted of atoms part or all of which are sulfur or nitrogen atoms and at least one proton-accepting functional group; and metal catalyst particles or carbon particles having a metal catalyst deposited thereon. |
