A method for filling a solution in the wells of a multi-well plate formed of a base plate with the plurality of wells and a method of moving the solution from the wells of the multi-well plate to the wells of the other multi-well plate. In the filling method, the well comprises dimensions, a shape, and a surface state such that the solution is not filled in the wells even if the openings of the wells are covered by the solution when the multi-well plate is stationarily placed in the upwardly facing state of the openings of the wells. The solution is put on the principal plane of the multi-well plate with the wells, and the solution is filled in the wells by providing a centrifugal force from the openings of the wells toward the bottoms thereof. In the moving method, even if the quantity of containers (wells) exceeds 1000 or the dimensions, shapes, and surface states of the containers (wells) do not allow the solution to flow into the containers (wells), the solution such as a reaction mixture can be easily filled in the containers (wells). |
