The invention relates to the use of silymarine or the main constituents thereof, individually or combined, selected from silybine, (or 2,3-dihydro-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-(3,5,7-trihydroxy-4-oxobenzopyran-2-yl) benzodioxine), isosilybine, silydianine, silychristine, silandrine, silymonine and taxifoline, the isolated eniantiomers thereof and the salts thereof, for the production of compositions used to induce, restore or stimulate a pigmentation of the skin, hairs, or hair. The invention also relates to the use of silymarine or the main constituents thereof for producing compositions used to preserve the intactness of the hair, to limit the loss of hair, and to stimulate capillary regrowth. The silymarine or the constituents thereof, individually or combined, are obtained by extraction from a plant of the genus Sylibum. |
