abstract | The invention concerns a method for detecting abnormal blood pressure in a subject, which consists in, during gradual release of an initial choking of a limb, measuring an instantaneous choking pressure at the time of recirculation, performing at least three measurements, namely a couple of measurements (31, 32) at both arms, and one measurement (33) at one leg, comparing (40) the two measurements (31, 32) of the couple to select the one with maximum value, and calculating (42) a ratio between the leg measurement and the maximum arm value to obtain a ratio of systolic blood pressures. |
