abstract |
The invention relates to neutralisation agents for neutralising the odour of a gas odorant containing (a) at least one acrylic acid C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>6 </SUB>alkyl ester and (b) at least one C<SUB>2</SUB>-C<SUB>6</SUB> thiol or C<SUB>2</SUB>-C<SUB>6</SUB> sulphide, to the use of said neutralisation agent for neutralising odorants of this type and to a method for neutralising said odorants. A neutralisation agent according to the invention contains: a) between 0.5 and 5 wt. % of one or more emulsifiers; b) between 0.5 and 8 wt. % of one or more bases, selected from the group consisting of alkali metal hydroxides, alkali metal C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>4</SUB> alkoxides and mixtures of said bases; c) between 0.2 and 5 wt. % sodium hypochlorite; d) between 0.05 and 3 wt. % of one or more odorous substances; e) at least 70 wt. % water. The sum of the percentages by weight of the components a), b), c), d) and e) totals at least 80 wt. %. |
