Disclosed is a resin composition composed of 50-95% by weight of a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C) which is obtained by reacting an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a monovalent epoxy compound (B) having a molecular weight of not more than 500, and 5-50% by weight of a soft resin (F) having at least one functional group reactive with a hydroxyl group and a Young's modulus of not more than 500 MPa at 23˚C, 50%RH wherein particles of the soft resin (F) having an average particle diameter of 0.1 μm or less are dispersed in the matrix of the modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C). This resin composition exhibits excellent barrier properties while being excellent in flexing resistance and impact resistance at low temperatures. |
