abstract |
A polymer composition for intraocular lens comprises a copolymerised yellow chromophore agent and is characterised in that it comprises a firs isomer of said chromophore agent exhibiting a first blue light filtration power and a second isomer thereof exhibiting a second filtration power which is greater than the first one, at a temperature of the order of an eye temperature, the first isomer is transitional into the second isomer in the presence of an ultraviolet light irradiation and the second isomer is transitional into the first isomer in the absence thereof and, in the presence of light, the composition has a variable ratio between the first and second isomers. |
