abstract The present invention discloses a kind of catalyst and a hydrocarbon oil cracking method, the said catalyst comprises, by weight of the dry composite, 10-65wt% ZSM-5 molecular sieve, 0-60wt% clay, 15-60wt% inorganic oxide binder, 0.5-15wt% metal additives selected from one or more of group VIIIB and 2-25wt% phosphorus additive. The said metal additives are calculated as the oxide, phosphorus additive is calculated as P2O5. The hydrocarbon oil cracking method with this catalyst can not only increase the yield of the catalytic cracking LPG and the octane number of the catalytic cracking gasoline, but also remarkably enhance the propylene content in the LPG.
