abstract The aim of the invention is a method for obtaining an active ingredient enabling the properties to the surface of the hair to be improved, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: solubilization of a cereal cake, mainly made of soya, the amount thereof being at least 50 to 500g/l in an aqueous solution; moderate enzymatic hydrolysis promoting the solubilization of proteins; separation of the soluble and insoluble phases by means of decantation, filtration and centrifugation; inactivation of enzymatic activities; filtration in order to concentrate the insoluble phase with proteins; polymerization of proteins; filtration in order to separate the polymerized proteins; concentration; sterilizing filtration. The invention covers the product obtained, the uses thereof and the cosmetic composition including said active ingredient.
