More specifically speaking, the above-described composition, Nrf2 activator and food are useful in treating, preventing, ameliorating or relieving chronic diseases seemingly occurring or proceeding due to oxidation stress in vivo or cell injury by environmental substances (for example, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes, brain neurodegenerative diseases, skin diseases, eye diseases, asthma, cancer, etc.), retarding the progress of such diseases or detoxifying biological contaminants.
