A process for producing a solution of a polyurethane resin which has a low stretch modulus, a low modulus at low temperatures, and excellent elastic recovery. The process for polyurethane resin solution production is characterized by reacting a polyisocyanate compound with a polyether polyol (A) having a number-average molecular weight of 750-4,000 obtained by causing a polyoxytetramethylene diol or polycarbonate diol having a number-average molecular weight of 500-2,500 to add an alkylene oxide using a composite metal cyanide complex catalyst as an initiator to obtain an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer and reacting the prepolymer with a chain extender and/or hardener in an organic solvent. |
