titleOfInvention Process for producing oil containing vegetable glycosphingolipid
abstract A process for efficiently producing from a barley-derived raw material a vegetable glycosphingolipid inhibited from emitting an offensive odor. The process, which is for producing a vegetable glycosphingolipid, includes: an extraction step (2) in which the raw material is mixed with a halogen-free alcohol solvent and this raw-material mixture is heated; and a fatty acid removal step (3) in which fatty acids are removed from the extract obtained in the extraction step (2).
