titleOfInvention Method for closing housings with the aid of film covers and corresponding closed housing
abstract The invention relates to film material (21 ) from which the film covers (1 1 ) are obtained, and which is in the form of rolls. Functional elements (22), for example, semi-permeable pressure equalisation membranes, transponders etc. are integrated into the film material (21) at regular intervals. The fitted housing shells (1 ) (fitted not represented) are displaced by means of conveyor belts. The film material (21), which is displaced in a parallel manner in relation to the housing shells, is welded by means of a hot stamp (24) on the edge surrounding the mounting opening of the housing shell (1). Subsequently, the film covers (1 1 ) are stamped out by means of a stamp (25). The stamp, after welding, is advantageous in that no separate stamped film parts are produced. Alternatively, the film covers (1 1 ) comprising functional elements (22) can be initially placed over on a support strip (26) which is coated, with the aid of a self adhesive coating (12), in such a way that it rejects an adhesive and the film covers are distributed on the housing shells (1 ).
