Disclosed is a gas barrier multilayer body which is characterized in that at least gas barrier layers and polymer layers are arranged on a base, at least one of the polymer layers is adjacent to at least one of the gas barrier layers, the average carbon content at the contact interface of the polymer layer with the gas barrier layer is smaller than the average carbon content of the polymer layer, at least one of the polymer layers is adjacent to the base, and the average carbon content at the contact interface of the polymer layer with the base is larger than the average carbon content in the regions of the polymer layer other than the contact interface. |
