A frequency domain equalization apparatus of a receiver in a single-carrier communication, comprising means (103) for selecting, from a received signal, a time series signal portion that is longer than one block; Fourier transforming means (104) for Fourier transforming the time series signal portion to a frequency domain signal; channel compensating means (105-106) for performing a channel estimation and a channel compensation in the frequency domain; and means (107,108;151) for inverse Fourier transforming the signal as channel compensated and for selecting, from the result of the inverse Fourier transformation, a time series signal portion of one block. |
