Disclosed is an active energy ray-curable resin composition which is useful for forming a coating layer having excellent antifouling property, coating film hardness, abrasion resistance, solvent resistance and adhesiveness. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a resin composition and a coating composition using such a resin composition. Specifically disclosed is an active energy ray-curable resin composition containing a polysiloxane-containing polyisocyanate derivative [A] obtained by reacting a polysiloxane compound (a1) represented by the general formula (1) below and having a terminal hydroxyl group, a polyisocyanate compound and a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate compound, and a compound [B] having one or more ethylenically unsaturated groups in one molecule. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a resin composition and a coating composition using such a resin composition.
