abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a surface-blackened copper foil for electromagnetic radiation shielding and a copper foil produced by the method, which has low light reflectance and no stain on the surface and hardly has residues, thereby having a uniform and consistent appearance. Specifically, the method for producing a surface-treated copper foil for electromagnetic radiation shielding which comprises placing a copper foil as a cathode in an electroplating bath and forming a plated layer for electromagnetic radiation shielding on the surface of the copper foil, is characterized by using an electroplating bath which contains Co and an oxidizing agent that suppresses hydrogen generation on the cathode to form a plated layer of Co oxide having black color on said copper foil. |
