A rubber-reinforcing cord for reinforcing a rubber product comprising a plurality of strands, a method of manufacturing the cord, and a rubber product using the cord. The cord comprises the strands having a plurality of bundled yarns and a film formed to cover the plurality of bundled yarns. The plurality of strands are adhered to each other through the film, and the film contains a material crosslinked by a heat treatment. The method of manufacturing the rubber-reinforcing cord comprises the steps of (i) forming the strands having the plurality of bundled yarns and the film formed to cover the plurality of bundled yarns and (ii) adhering the plurality of strands to each other through the film by twining the plurality of strands with each other. The film comprises the material crosslinked by the heat treatment. |
