abstract |
It is intended to provide a microorganism belonging to the genus Escherichia which has no or lowered activities of glutamine synthetase adenylyl transferase (GlnE protein) and glutamine synthetase regulatory protein PII and is capable of producing and accumulating L-glutamine or a substance biosynthesized with the use of nitrogen supplied from L-glutamine; and a method of producing L-glutamine or a substance biosynthesized with the use of nitrogen supplied from L-glutamine by using the above microorganism. |
