abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for measuring the activity of a lipolytic enzyme comprising measuring the pH of the gas phase of the enzymatic reaction between the lipolytic enzyme and a substrate, wherein the substrate comprises an ester bond between a C1-C10 carboxylic acid and an alcohol. Furthermore, it relates to a method for screening a library of polypeptide for a lipolytic enzyme of interest comprising testing the library in said method. |
