abstract A highly safe means of improving the visibility of a transparent tissue in eye such as vitreous body, crystal lens or cornea in operating the same. This means contains fine particles made of a polymer compound, in particular, fine particles 1 g of which are not completely dissolved in less than 30 mL of water at 20oC within 30 minutes and which have an average particle diameter of from 0.01 to 500 μm, among all, fine particles made of a biodegradable polymer compound and/or a water-soluble polymer compound.
