titleOfInvention Automatic cornea epithelium separating apparatus
abstract The invention relates to an automatic cornea epithelium separating apparatus. The apparatus consists of a double dynamo assembly (1), a separating device (2), and a suction ring assembly. There are two dynamos (7, 8) in the double dynamo assembly (1) and a connected key (13) is under the double dynamo assembly (1). A through hole (18) is mounted in the separating device (2), on one side of the separating device (2) there is a separating plate (3), and on the upper surface of the separating device (2) a limit arm (16) extends outward. The suction ring assembly comprises a suction ring (5) on which there is a suction ring pillar (12). There is a key groove (14) on the ring surface of the suction ring pillar (12), and a tube (4) is integrated with the suction ring (5) through a stop ring (2). The invention could separate the cornea epithelium (9) from the cornea ground substance simply and quickly. The apparatus of the invention need not use alcohol and other chemical agent which will lead to the epithelium moving and separates the epithelium continuously, and protect the separated epithelium flap and epithelium ground substance. The apparatus of the invention is an epithelium cutter without alcohol, namely an automatic rotation EPI-LASIK.
