abstract The present invention relates to an application of molecular methods capable of detecting and quantifying the presence of contaminating DNA of animal origin in feeds or raw material intended to be used in the zootechnical field. The invention relates to the development of a system of molecular probes with high sensitivity, specifically adapted to the analysis of biological material such as vegetable flours. Said system can be profitably applied to the fields of diagnostics and food certification. In particular, said system of analysis allows identification and quantification of the species of origin of the contaminating DNA, specifically Bos taurus (bovine), Ovis aries (sheep), Capra hircus (goat), Sus scrofa (pig) and Gallus gallus (rooster). The entire system can be easily assembled and distributed in form of a kit.
