titleOfInvention | Method of rapidly and easily detecting target substance and enzymoimmunological kit |
abstract | An assay kit with which one or more target substances contained in a sample can be simultaneously and rapidly detected with ease; and a method of assaying the target substance(s). The kit or assaying method is used to diagnose a disease in which the target substance(s) participate. The kit is an enzymoimmunological kit characterized in that it comprises a support having, fixed to the surface thereof, a substance recognizing a target substance, an enzyme-labeled antibody against the target substance, and a substrate which is caused to give a water-insoluble reaction product by the coloration of the enzyme-labeled antibody, and that the target substance contained in a sample is detected based on the coloration of the support surface. The assaying method comprises a two-stage reaction process comprising an incubation step and a coloration step, and the color of the support surface after the coloration reaction is visually examined. Thus, the target substance contained in a sample is detected or the concentration of the target substance is determined. |
