The invention relates to a method for inducing hyperthermia in at least part of a target area - for example a tumor or part of a tumor or targeted cancer cells. Targeted radio frequency absorption activators, for example antibodies bound to radio frequency absorption particles, are introduced into a patient. These targeted radiofrequency absorption activators will target certain cells in the target areas and improve the effect of hyperthermia generated by a radiofrequency signal directed on the target area. Targeted radiofrequency absorption activators can, so to speak, add one or more radiofrequency absorption frequencies to cells in a target area, which will allow hyperthermia generated by radiofrequency signal at this or these frequencies in order to heat the target cells. |
