titleOfInvention Assemblable cell filtration unit
abstract The invention relates to an assemblable cell filtration unit. The inventive unit comprises: (a) fixing means for assembling the unit to the suction tube of the cell injector; (b) a body which supports a filter mesh and which is assembled to the suction tube of the cell injector; and (c) a filter mesh, the pore diameter of which is less than the diameter of the inlet hole. The inventive unit can be used as an accessory in flow cytometry devices in order to prevent problems associated with preocclusion/occlusion with continuous sample filtering at the moment of injection. In addition, the unit offers high fluid stability and, consequently, excellent sample recovery and separation purity properties.
