The invention relates to the use of additives in the preparation of bitumen/polymer compositions, in order to provide same with improved resistance to chemical attacks. The aim of the invention is to improve resistance to chemical attacks (e.g. hydrocarbon solvents, particularly petroleum solvents, and defrosting, de-icing and/or snow removal products), without impairing the water resistance of the bitumens, in a simple, economical and effective manner. The aforementioned aim is achieved through the use of at least one nitrogen compound (3) with Mw > 90 resulting from the reaction of a polyalkylene polyamine having formula R-NH-[(CH2)3-NH]n-H with formic acid, in a cross-linked or cross-linkable bitumen/polymer composition comprising a bitumen (1), a cross-linkable polymer [polystyrene-butadiene] (2) and a coupling agent (sulphur). The invention also relates to the method of producing said bitumen/polymer composition with the addition of sulphur (4) after (1), (2) and (3) have been brought into contact with one another. |
