A patterning substrate for cell culture that is used to culture cells into a desired morphology on a base material; and a process for producing the same. There is provided a patterning substrate for cell culture, comprising a base material having protrudent portions and, disposed on a surface of the base material, cell culture regions adapted to culture cells, characterized in that the cell culture regions are partitioned by the protrudent portions of the base material having protrudent portions. |
