Methods and compositions for screening involving endothelial cells under shearing conditions |
abstract |
The present invention concerns screening methods and compositions relating to endothelial cell function. More specifically, it provides screening methods to identify or characterize pathways and factors involved in endothelial cell function by employing conditions that simulate physiological stress. Additional methods can be implemented to identify candidate drugs for the treatment of endothelial cell dysfunction, such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes. |
