abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for determining the critical point of a multi-component mixture. More particularly, the present invention is concerned with providing a method for determining the critical point and a method enabling the experimentalist to determine the critical point of a substance in a quick and easy manner. In addition, the process lends itself to automation. Because supercritical fluids are becoming increasingly used as solvents in chemical reactions there is a greater need for critical point data for the multi-component mixtures used in these applications. |
