The invention relates to anionic, cationic or amphoteric polymers, to the production method thereof, and to the applications thereof as thickening agents and/or emulsifiers and/or stabilisers in aqueous compositions or emulsions. According to the invention, on such polymer is obtained in the form of an invert water-in-silicon emulsion by polymerisation of at least one ionic, anionic and/or cationic monomer, and optionally at least one non-ionic monomer, optionally in the presence of a cross-linking agent and optionally a transfer agent, and comprises a continuous phase consisting of at least one silicon-type oil, and at least two surfactants, at least one of said surfactants being a siliconised water-in-silicon-type emulsifier, and at least one an inversion agent. The emulsions produced in this way have a high level of stability and efficacy. |
