titleOfInvention | A preparation, process and a regenerative method and technioue for prevention, treatment and glycemic control of diabetes melletus |
abstract | The present invention discloses a medicinal preparation, a process, a nutritional composition and regenerative and insulin potentiating method for humans and also for mammals for prevention, treatment and glycemic control of diabetes melletus by obtaining optimum glucose level in blood, by administering an extract of Costus pictus to produce above effect in a dose of 500-2000mg/day in humans and 50-200mg/kg/day in rats. This invention also provides a method for treating hyperglycemia in a patient by administering this medicinal preparation, which is an insulin-potentiating agent that decreases blood glucose and/or glycosylated hemoglobin. The invention enables long term management of diabetes by avoiding the problems associated with tight control of blood glucose concentrations, i.e., hypoglycemia tolerance and seizures, while simultaneously avoiding the problems associated with conventional moderate control of blood glucose concentrations, i.e., pathological complications associated with hyperglycemia, such as nephropathy, retinopathy, etc. Blood glucose concentration can be controlled by moderate administration enumerated above of the innovative preparation. In appropriate proportions and with right techniques the preparation can be administered to regenerate beta cells of pancreatic Islets. An innovative extraction of this innovative preparation administered therapeutically deploying an innovative manner and method effectively controls glycogen level in the liver of mammals and humans. |
