The present invention further relates to a method for the synthesis of alkoxycarbonyl dithiocarbamate compounds. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for the preparation of one or more polymers by means of a radical polymerisation process, using a monofunctional, a bifunctional or a multifunctional dithiocarboxylate compound.
