titleOfInvention E-mail community system of network game, program, and recording medium
abstract [PROBLEMS] Character names of a network game can be used to associate e-mails both inside and outside the game with each other for free communication, and external e-mail addresses, which are valuable identities, can be used, in a carefree manner, without being open to public. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There are included a step of associating the game character names with the e-mail addresses and recording them in a dedicated server; and a step wherein when the terminal apparatus of a transmission source is connected to a game, an intra-game e-mail using a game character name is received and a game character name of a transmission destination is acquired; thereafter, if the destination is not playing the game and its e-mail address has been registered, then an e-mail is used to transmit a receipt message addressed to that e-mail address, and the foregoing intra-game e-mail is converted to a WEB e-mail format, thereby performing an external e-mail transmission with a WEB e-mail addressed to the game character name.
