abstract The invention relates to tablets capable of producing in a controlled manner a gas preferably used in apparatuses intended to the administration of medicaments or serum, so that the gas controls the speed of delivery of the serum or medicament to the patient. The tablets comprise am emulsified polymer matrix (oil phase and hydrophilic phase) so that the reaction between an acid and a base or an enzymatic reaction can take place in a controlled manner, specially at a constant gas evolution speed during the useful life of the tablet owing to the protection given by the emulsified polymer matrix (containing oil).
