abstract The invention relates to statin compounds, and it discloses novel small molecule compounds, i.e., huvastatin, which are classified into I, II, III. The invention also provides the production methods thereof and the formulations comprising the huvastatin as active components. The present compounds can be used at a lower dosage with respect to the existing statin compounds, and also can help to obtain the desired lipid levels of the patents with hyperlipidemia. Huvastatin of the invention has suitable hydrophilicity, stronger potency to reduce lipid levels, good medical effect and lower dose usage.
