The invention relates to a method for forming a nanostructure having the shape of a tree, which comprises a first and a second step. The first step is to provide one or more catalytic particles on a substrate surface, and to cultivate a first nanotrichite using each catalytic particle. The second step consists in providing, around each first nanotrichite, one or more second catalytic particles and in cultivating, from each second catalytic particle, a second nanotrichite extending transversely from the periphery of the respective first nanotrichite. The subsequent steps can be introduced in order to cultivate one or more other nanotrichites extending from the nanotrichite (s) from the previous step. Heterostructures can be created in nanotrichites. These nanostructures can form network components of solar cells or of a flat light-emitting panel, in which the nanotrichites are formed from a photosensitive material. The neural network can be formed by positioning the first nanotrichites close to each other so that the adjacent trees come into contact with each other through the nanotrichites grown in a later stage, and the heterojunctions in the nanotrichites create barriers to tunnel effect for current flow. |
