The invention relates to a device for the imaging diagnosis of tissue while optionally using two methods of diagnosis, namely a mode for diagnostic white light endoscopy (DWLE) and a mode for diagnostic autofluorescence endoscopy (DAFE). According to the invention, the light of a light source (2) is supplied to the tissue (1) via an optical waveguide (3). The image of the tissue to be examined is imaged onto an image recording unit (5) by means of an image transmitting unit (4), and the image signals produced in the image recording unit are processed in an image processing unit (6) and displayed on a screen (7). In order to allow for an improved tissue differentiation in the DAFE mode, the image recording unit (5), in addition to the actual tissue fluorescence radiation, detects radiation from at least two spectral bands or two groups of spectral bands which is provided by the light source (2) and reflected on the tissue. |
