An image display device (15), wherein the gravity center GRA thereof is positioned on the rear lower side of the eye balls (9) of a person in a standing state. When an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis orthogonal to each other are considered as the rotating axes of the head of the person, the intersection of these axes forms the rotating center CNT of the head. The rotating center CNT of the head is positioned on the rear lower side of the eye balls (9). Thus, even if the GRA nears the CNT and a rotating motion is performed about the CNT, the rotating motion needs less inertia force other than an inertia moment. Accordingly, the image display device capable of following up the movement of the head of the person without reluctance even if the weight of the head is large can be provided. |
