titleOfInvention Method for obtaining a high pressure acid gas stream by removal of the acid gases from a liquid stream
abstract The invention relates to a method for obtaining an acid gas stream at a pressure of from 3 to 30 bars, by removal of the acid gases from a liquid stream, comprising H2S and optionally other acidic gases as impurities, the molar proportion of H2S, with relation to the total amount of acidic gases being at least 50 mol. %, whereby a) in at least one absorption step, the liquid stream is brought into intimate contact with a liquid absorption agent to give a liquid stream, essentially free of acidic gases and a liquid absorption agent, charged with acidic gases, (step a) b) the liquid stream, essentially free of acidic gases and the liquid absorption agent, charged with acidic gases, are separated from each other, (step b) c) the liquid absorption agent, charged with acidic gases, is separated into an acid gas stream, at a pressure of 3 to 30 bar and a regenerated liquid absorption agent, by means of heating and optional expansion or stripping, (step c) d) the regenerated liquid absorption agent is introduced into a heat exchanger and cooled, a portion of the heat energy therefrom being used to heat the liquid absorption agent charged with acidic gases in step (c), (step d) and e) the regenerated liquid absorption agent is recycled into step (a) (step e).
