| abstract | A measurement cell (30) for a colorimeter enabling the easy resin molding of a measurement cell container (32) and mass-manufacturable at low cost, wherein an opening part is formed in the upper part of the measurement cell container (32), a cover body (34) is disposed watertight in the opening part, a hole (36) for inserting a capillary (14) therein is formed through the cover body (34), and a rubber plug (38) is fitted into the hole (36) so as to be extracted. The depth of the measurement cell container (32) is set larger than the length of the capillary (14). A reactive reagent is stored in the measurement cell container (32) beforehand, and the inside of the measurement cell container (32) is sealed by the cover body (34) and the rubber plug (36). The capillary (14) whereby a specimen was sampled is inserted and stored in the measurement cell container (32) after the rubber plug (38) is removed, and the measurement cell container is sealed again and shaken sufficiently to mix the specimen with the reactive reagent so as to form a liquid to be inspected. The measurement cell (30) is fitted to the colorimeter, and light is radiated, for measurement, to the liquid to be inspected positioned above the capillary (14) storage position of the measurement cell container (32). |
