A method of readily detecting or discriminating articular rheumatism having been diagnosed in a comprehensive manner from various tests and clinical symptoms; and a method of readily and objectively estimating the stage of disease and degree of dysfunction with respect to articular rheumatism. In particular, the detection and discrimination of articular rheumatism are performed by measuring L-PGDS in a sample, such as body fluid, and using the measurement value as an index. Further, the stage of disease or degree of dysfunction of articular rheumatism patients is determined by using the measurement value as an index. |
