titleOfInvention A method for increasing the efficiency of transgenic animal production
abstract A method for increasing the efficiency of transgenic animal production is provided. The method comprises somatic cell transfer technique including the step of nuclear transfer, which is characterized in successfully selecting transgenic cells and embryos by a kind of double labeled selective vector that co-express enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP) and neomycin resistant (NeoR) genes. The method of present invention is intended for application to improving the production efficiency of transgenic animal, in particularly that of transgenic domestic animal. The method can be used in heterospermic organ transplantation, production of medicinal protein , nutrient protein and humanized milk as well as construction of animal models of many kinds of diseases.
