A method of dulling visceral pain, comprising administering civetone to patients suffering from visceral pain, characterized in that the administration is performed by means for transmitting civetone stimulation through the olfactory nerve to the brain. In this method, the visceral pain dulling effect can be exerted in a short period of time, and further, since blood is not intermediacy, the visceral pain can be dulled without any side effects on the liver and kidney. |
