titleOfInvention | Method for producing insulin from a natural source and insulin |
abstract | The inventive method for producing insulin consists in using a reindeer pancreas which is homogenised in a hydrochloride ethanol solution. Afterwards, the extraction associated with the subsequent clarification of the solution and a supernatant production is carried out. Said supernatant is exposed to an ion-exchange chromatography and isoelectric precipitation, thereby producing insulin which is purified by means of a high-efficient reversed-phase liquid chromatography. The thus produced insulin can compete for a bond with an insulin receptor at a concentration higher than 100 ng/ml. |
