abstract |
A positive photosensitive composition that does not need burning, provides as satisfactory adhesion as needed upon coating in 25 to 60% humidity and can be developed at low alkali strength, which positive photosensitive composition further retains high sensitivity, enables development not generating residues and realizes cut with sharp profile, providing a very hard resist film capable of enhancing scuffing resistance in handling prior to development. This positive photosensitive composition comprises as indispensable components (A) a polymeric substance having at least one carboxyl in each molecule thereof and (B) a photothermal conversion substance capable of absorbing infrared radiation from an image exposure radiation source and converting the absorbed radiation to heat. |
