abstract |
A multilayer body is disclosed which is excellent in adhesion between a formed body and a plating layer. The multilayer body is produced by forming a plating layer on the surface of a formed body which is obtained by bulk polymerizing a cyclic olefin monomer in the presence of an inorganic filler using a ruthenium catalyst. A method for producing a multilayer body is also disclosed wherein a plating layer is formed by nonelectrolytic plating on the surface of a formed body, which is obtained by bulk polymerizing a cyclic olefin monomer in the presence of an inorganic filler using a ruthenium catalyst, after chemically etching the surface of the formed body with a permanganate compound and then providing the surface with a plating catalyst. |
